Ricardo
Ricardo (a.k.a. Richard Russell) is a Seattle-based artist and musician whose work brings together an eclectic blend of music styles and inspirations. His style has evolved from early folk and rhythm-and-blues influences to his recent explorations of instrumental jazz. Ricardo is also an innovative teacher who encourages and supports aspiring musicians, teachers and students through his many years of non-profit work.
His recordings, which include the talented contributions of many local Seattle musicians, are creative metaphors from his personal journey and reflect his life-long love of music.
"Ricardo" was a name his grandfather called him as a child.

Orville Johnson
Orville Johnson got his early singing training in the Pentecostal church in which he was raised in the small farming town of Edwardsville, Illinois. Johnson picked up the guitar and dobro as a teenager. He started playing professionally by age 19, and never looked back. He's well-versed in many musical styles, but his own unique sound never fails to transcend whatever style he's playing. And when you hear him solo, just that sweet voice and fluid guitar picking, so effortless and so full, you'll know why folks are happy to hear that Orville is coming to their neighborhood.

"Jim's been writing great topical songs for as long as I can remember, bringing his acute wit and wry humor to a host of subjects that can really use both. In the tradition of Woody and Dylan, he cuts right to the heart with music you actually enjoy listening to. I'm a longtime admirer."
- Bonnie Raitt
